I think "New Right" is far more accurate than the more negative "Revanchist Right". One of the key issues will be deficit spending - many (/most) working folk don't mind more deficits if the gov't is supporting good stuff that works.
The USA won't be having big deficit reduction until Dems think it's a problem; at least enough so that Reps who want to reduce gov't wasted cash aren't demonized as uncaring about the poor, and thus lose elections.
