Just finished the book. I do recommend it. Can’t attend the discussion, but would love to read/participate in a comment thread on the topic.

For example, I would like to get others opinion on Ziehan’s treatment of finance. That section seemed to be the weakest and raised a lot of questions for me.

YES - let's discuss Zeihan's book!

Funny 8pm is often better for me than 4pm (2am & 10pm in Slovakia) - but I'm clearly an outlier in the US audience.

Having just finished 1177 bc, I would be interested in reading and discussing this one.

Though this review worries me that it's light on what comes after:

"Instead this is a long book about how we're collapsing. That seems to be it's message. "We're collapsing." The book should have been called "the end of the world". There is no "beginning" to be discussed. And that's a shame."

I would LOVE to discuss his book. But I'm not going to get a chance to START reading it for two or three weeks

I’ve been looking forward to this book. His last ones were very thought-provoking. I would join were I a subscriber (and could be sure of having time to finish the book before the session).

definitely. It would be great if we could do it in a week or so in order to have time to read the book.

"I know it might be fun to have the author on the Zoom, but I don’t believe that I can arrange that.""

He must not be aware of the quality of your subscribers. :)

Yes, I will attend.

From snippets of other things he has written, my impression is that he is too much a resources and technology determinist, discounting policy.
