This Monday evening: ChatGPT and Knowledge Management

Recently, the CTO of Ernst and Young predicted that knowledge management will be the first killer application of ChatGPT for large enterprises. I had not thought of this, but I can see how it might break down some corporate silos.

On Monday evening, Dennis Pearce and Stan Garfield, two experts in the field of knowledge management, will join me for a discussion of ChatGPT, including its impact on that field. In our discussion, I will want to make sure that we are on the same page about how ChatGPT works, because I sense there is still a lot of mystery involved. I hope that I am not one of those who misunderstands!

I believe that the discussion will help clarify what the large language model approach to artificial intelligence can and cannot deliver.
