How many “moderate” Democrats are there? Spanberger, no; Fetterman, probably a one-term Senator; Shapiro, can’t be nominated for national office because he’s a Jew … . No, I don’t like much about the Republican Party, either. But Democrats are morphing into a hard socialist, anti-Jewish, pro-DEI,

anti-traditional values party, and I don’t see any likelihood that they will self-correct or realign their policies to the political center.

The problem with both Democrats and Republicans is that neither tribe takes this question seriously: under what conditions do two people who vote on it have the right to do to a third person that which all three people agree is immoral, unjustified, and a violation of natural law? The answer is obvious to classical liberals.
