Live with Arnold Kling and Lee Bressler

A few days ago, Lee Bressler and I mostly talked about AI and the economy. One interesting question is whether the leading model companies have moats. I claim, and Lee agrees, that as of now they cannot be disrupted from below. It turns out that the live app on substack uses so much phone battery that even though my phone was plugged in it was discharging faster than it was charging. So late in the video I tried and failed to switch to the computer. That part is certainly worth fast-forwarding past.
