What I Learned About World War II

On October 23, at 8 PM New York time, paid subscribers can join me on Zoom for an event on the topic What I Learned About World War II. I will talk, without notes, for about half an hour, and then I will open it up for comments and questions.

When I was in school, World War II was a big topic, and the Holocaust was just a footnote. Today, my sense is that it’s the other way around. While I would not want to go all the way back to treating the Holocaust as a footnote, I believe that generations born after mine suffer from a lack of knowledge of the war.
