Think this is missing the obvious third axis, racial conflict, which is clearly more significant than either of the other two, at least in terms of voting patterns/polarization.
I am not so sure the polarization should be thought of in terms of a “class / gender” conflict because is seems more like a conflict of ideologies that spans across the genders and classes. Is there any good books to prepare for this topic? Do Matin Guri’s ideas apply?
